Key Tasks ·     Under the guidance of the District Coordinator, plan and facilitate project activities in close collaboration with the multisector project team and respective partners ·     Liaison with government line agencies, mass organisations, other projects, CSOs, Private Sector ·     Provide technical input into the design of specific activities, technical support to district staff (GoL and other) as well as beneficiaries ·     Initiate, guide and supervise/monitor implementation of activities including timely preparation of advances for the activities, and accurate settlement of advances ·     As required, initiate, design and facilitate capacity development measures for staff, community/beneficiaries’ representatives and beneficiaries ·     Prepare regular project activity reports as required ·     Actively participate and contribute during meetings/events (monthly, SCM etc.)
Profile/ Qualification Mandatory ·     Bachelor degree in respective technical field ·     At least 3 years’ experience working in similar projects technical officer/advisor ·     Good understanding of respective sector, food security and nutrition ·     At least 3 years experience in managing project activities promoting linkages of livelihood development and nutrition as well as gender sensitization ·     Experience in working in a multi-sectoral way, using participatory approaches ·     Knowledge and experience in activity planning, implementation, monitoring and capacity development ·     Good team builder and communicator ·     Self-directed and reliable with high team spirit ·     Proficiency in MS Office and email ·     Have a basic understanding of English language Optional/Desirable ·     Work experience in INGO/local NGO environment ·     Knowledge of an ethnic Lao language (Khmu)
